This town overlooking the water has historically had a strong bond with Orvieto, being the place where the Eucharistic Miracle took place and whose precious relic of the Corporal the Cathedral of Orvieto was made guardian. Vineyards, olive groves and large protected wooded areas represent a natural scenario that is still unspoiled for many aspects. Ideal places for those who prefer contact with nature. Among the most representative green areas to see is Monte Peglia<\/strong>: a vast protected area declared a “Mab Unesco Reserve<\/em>” scattered with small characteristic villages and numerous hiking trails. This park overlooks Lake Corbara, which in turn is part of the Tiber River Park: a large area that divides Orvieto from another Umbrian city of art, Todi.
